Do I have to learn a full editor?

No. There are two actions: Mark Segment to mark what stays, and Generate Video to make it. No multi-track timeline, no keyframes.

Are my videos uploaded anywhere?

No. All editing and export happen on your device. Your videos are not uploaded and never leave your phone. Ads and purchases use the network.

What is free and what is paid?

Free gives you the whole editor, with ads and a small MultiCut watermark on exports. One payment for Pro removes both, permanently on the platform where you buy it. There is no subscription.
